It’s been a longer journey than we anticipated, but we are happy to announce that we are rapidly approaching our opening. In fact, if you attended the Ladies Night Out event on the main street this past Friday, you had the opportunity to come in and chat with us. We appreciate those of you who did! We shared ideas, handed out business cards, and listened to your feedback.

Today, we have artworks lined up along our (finally!) finished walls, ready to hang. Hanging will occur early in the week. We’ll be in and out all week, so if you see the lights on, feel free to stop in and take a look.
We have some great works of art to share with you as well as some wonderful upcoming featured poets.
It is an honor to feature the abstract works of Tahlequah artist Bruce Richie, posthumously. Richie passed from this world in 2022, but is still remembered fondly by those who shared in his friendship and art lessons. We’ve secured 5 of Richie’s pieces to share with the public, in addition to stories and portraits of Richie compiled and completed by his close and longtime friend Kathy Tibbits.
We welcome Tulsa artist Robert Taylor. Taylor creates bold and symbolic acrylic works of Native American experiences. He has a large history mural on display in our state capitol featuring Quannah Parker, Bass Reeves, and Bud Ledbetter. He’s also been featured in several museums, including the Smithsonian, and galleries as distant as Santa Fe.
Further beautifying our space are fiber works by Kathy Tibbits. We have three of her most recently completed quilts to adorn our walls. We appreciate the uniqueness of Kathy’s concepts and style and look forward to featuring new works by her on a rotating basis.
Our final artist for this exhibit period is KS Vann, who is featuring a body of work representative of her artistic journey over the last 30 years. As a gallery co-founder, KS Vann plans to regularly exhibit more recent works of art following this first show.
Our in-house poet and co-founder Shelley Nation is also excited to share two featured poets for the months of December and January.
For December, join her down the street at Dena’s Art Den with poet Laurence Foshee. In January, she will feature her first reading in our new space with poet Quinn Carver Johnson. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for poet bios and updated information on both of these wonderful artists!
We look forward to this coming week and welcoming all of our local art lovers and supporters through our doors!
